Photos from “Reflecting the River: a communal tapestry” taken by Crystal Leipa. This was a grant-funded public art installation facilitated by the St. Anthony Falls Heritage Foundation, Mill City Museum and the Stone Arch Bridge Festival. This piece was on display during June, July and August of 2023. The 108 foot long fence was filled with donated textiles, trash-bound construction materials, foraged natural plants and flowers and original pieces of student artwork. The student artwork was created on recycled vinyl posters by students who visited the Mill City Museum during the Spring of 2023.
